We had a terrific time! Amethyst Dunes was the best little house for our little family from Oklahoma. The location around the beach was well worth it!

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park: Just a short drive away, this state park allows pets on designated trails and beaches, making it an awesome place to enjoy the outdoors with your four-legged companion.

They say location is everything, and I'd have to concur here. The place itself is in desperate need of the overhaul. Everything worked, it felt secure, along with the location was awesome, but it surely's just around the ragged edge of falling apart, in general. I don't mean to complain far too much, but basically the windows ended up all really in need of replacement, as were the doors, the trim, much of your household furniture, and so on.

Wonderful location very close to beach. Love the deck and sitting down out to try to eat evening meal at sunset. Noticed dolphins almost every day! The place was the ideal getaway and we loved coming back to the clean and roomy place after days about the beach!
